論文概要
Jakarta is in motion to follow the success of Curitiba and Bogota in improving their transit system by implementing busways using their distinctive concepts. Unfortunately, the plan is challenged by the existing complicated and overlapped bus system which is needed to be restructured. The paper reviews how much changes are required to shift the existing condition (fifteen corridors of busways and existing bus routes) into the expected condition (fifteen corridors of busways as the trunk lines and restructured bus routes as feeder lines). Using the travel data collected by JICA in 2002, transit assignment model is developed. The result of the model is used to identify: (i) low or high demand routes; (ii) identify the routes with insufficient or excessive number of fleets; and (iii) which routes have not been served. The result will be the basis of rearranging the operator companies' involvement in restructuring the network in terms of reconfiguring the incumbents and new players. |
