Scaled model shaking table tests of 1/30 scaled subway structure of Daikai station and its numerical simulation have been performed to clarify the dynamic behaviour and the damage mechanism of the sub-way structure. From these tests and analysis, the subway structure was subjected to shear deformati-on of the structure, and the strain of center column in the hinge case about 1/5 smaller than that in fixed case. The cause of collapse of the center column were clarified by the study.
