タイトル（和）：	1997年鹿児島県北西部地震を経験した既存鉄筋コンクリート造建築物の構造耐震指標と被害程度
抄録（和）：	本論文では、直下地震に対する都市施設の構造被災危険度を評価するための基礎資料を得るために、1997年鹿児島県北西部地震 (最大震度が6弱) を経験したRC造校舎群について検討を行った。まず、耐震診断により校舎群が保有する耐震性能 (構造耐震指標) を評価した。ついでこの結果を、実際の被害程度と比較することにより、被害をある限度に止めるのに必要な保有耐震性能を明らかにし、過去の地震に対する既往の結果と比較して考察した。一方、この必要耐震性能を解析的に求める試みとして、建物近辺で観測された地動記録を入力した時の非線形応答解析を行い、この結果を実被害から求めたさきの結果と比較して考察した。

タイトル（英）：	SEISMIC PERFORMANCE INDICES AND DAMAGE RANKS OF EXISTING REINFORCED CONCRETE BUILDINGS WHICH SUFFERED 1997 NORTHWESTERN KAGOSHIMA-KEN EARTHQUAKES
抄録（英）：	In order to obtain basic data to assess seismic risk of structural damages of urban facilities against near-field earthquakes, this paper investigated a lot of R/C school buildings that experienced the 1997 Northwestern Kagoshima-ken Earthquakes. Firstly, their seismic capacities were evaluated in terms of Is-index based on “The Standard for Evaluation of Seismic Capacity of Existing R/C buildings”. Next, the required Is-index (Iso-index) to prevent damage was determined by damage ranks, and the result was compared with those of past earthquakes. Finally, as an attempt to derive Iso-index analytically, the nonlinear response analyses subjected to recorded ground motions were carried out and the result was compared with Iso-index determined by damage ranks described above.
