ƒ^ƒCƒgƒ‹i‰pjF INVERSE ANALYSES OF DYNAMIC SOIL PARAMETERS USING ACTUAL ACCELERATION RECORDS DTIRING EARTHQUAKE
´˜^i‰pjF Evaluation of ground motion at a ground surface is important for seismic resistant design of structures, however, estimation of amplifications in various soils is difficult. The amplifications are greatly affected by dynamic soil parameter. In this study, we conducted the inverse analyses by combining the down-hill simplex optimum method with the multiple reflection theory, to decide the most suitable dynamic soil parameters by using down-hole array records. Subsequently the application of the method to actual acceleration records was discussed. We also verified the availability of the proposed method.
