やや長周期地震動を観測対象として関東平野北西部に展開している、4地点(TKB，TTH，MTK ＆ NOD)からなる地震観測アレーで得られた、1995／1／7岩手県沖の地震と1996／9／11 千葉県東方沖の地震の記録に基づいて、茨城県南西部の地震動特性について検討を行った。周期10秒以上の帯域の地震動は、堆積盆地生成やや長周期地震動とは異なり深い構造を反映した地震動であると考えられる。観測点間距離が10km程度以上離れると周期2〜4秒の地震動でさえも波群構成が異なっていることが確認された。また、TTHのやや長周期地震動特性は、設定した地下地盤構造モデルによっておおよその説明は可能であった。

In this study, the characteristic of earthquake ground motion in south-west part of Ibaraki prefecture was exam-ined with the earthquake records during the Iwate-ken-oki earthquake in Jan. 7, 1995 and Chiba-ken-toho-oki earthquake in Sep. 11, 1996, observed at 4 sites (TKB, TTH, MTK & NOD). The earthquake ground motion longer than 10-sec period range was different from sedimentary-basin oriented ground motion and related to deeper ground structure. The feature of phase composition even in 2 to 4-sec period range differs between 2 sites separated about 10km. The characteristic of earthquake ground motion at TTH was roughly explained according to estimated ground structure.
