四国地方の地震動予測システムの構築

四国地方の地震被害予測の基礎となる地震動予測システムを構築した．この予測システムは，地震関連データベースと地震動予測部からなる．地震関連データベースでは，西暦679年以降に日本全国で発生したマグニチュード5.0以上の地震を抽出するとともに，四国地方に大地震を生起すると考えられる活断層も考慮しデータベース化した．地震動予測部では，工学的基盤面での最大地動予測と地震波形予測を行った．本予測システムの中心は Visual Basic 上で作成したプログラムであり，データベースの検索，地震動予測，地理情報の管理，地震データおよび予測結果の表示等は全てこのプログラムにより制御される．

The objective of this study is to establish the database of earthquakes and the earthquake motion prediction system in Shikoku region which is fundamentals for estimating the earthquake damage of structures in the area. The database of earthquakes is consist of the earthquake data with magnitude over 5, that occurred in Japan since A.D.679. The database also includes the data of active faults in Shikoku, which may cause the huge earthquakes in the future. The peak values and the acceleration time history on base rock in Shikoku are predicted by using attenuation equation by Annaka et.al■■ in the earthquake motion prediction. The databases and prediction results are visualized by using the software(Visual Basic and GIS).
