ƒ^ƒCƒgƒ‹i‰pjF GROUND MOTION SIMULATION BY THREE DIMENSIONAL INDIRECT BOUNDARY ELEMENT METHOD
´˜^i‰pjF An explicit formula to calculate the seismic response matrix for irregularly layered basin is given by the application of Indirect Boundary Element Method with infinitely extended boundaries and the countermeasure to the truncation effect. This matrix makes it possible to calculate the sasmic ground motion in many sites for various patterns of seismic source simultaneously and may work in place of the database or library of theoretical Green's functions.
