ƒ^ƒCƒgƒ‹i‰pjF ANALYSIS OF DAMAGE OF STEEL REINFORCED CONCRETE BUILDING STRUCTURES OWING TO 1995 HYOGOKEN-NANBU EARTHQUAKE
´˜^i‰pjF Damage of building structures composed of steel reinforced concrete (SRC) members constructed in and around Kobe city were investigated. Data of damage of 1,307 buildings were collected, and statistical analysis was performed from the point of construction year, regional group, building use and building story. SRC members can be divided into two types. One of them is called open web type SRC and the other is called full web type SRC. The open web type had been used for most of SRC buildings constructed before 1974, and thirty-two buildings collapsed by the story failure. On the other hand, the full web type have been used for SRC buildings constructed after 1981, and the collapsed building frames were not found.
