ด˜^i‰pjF Railway Technical Research Institute is now developing a new early earthquake warning system. This system detects the earthquake occurrence at a very early stage and estimates the damage of railway structure by the earthquake using not only information from the seismographs which the railway company sets up but also gNowcastg earthquake information issued from Japan Meteorological Agency. The outline of the new system in railway is as follows.
