ด˜^i‰pjF During gThe study on earthquake disaster mitigation in the Kathmandu Valley (JICA, 2002)h, in order to establish the disaster mitigation plan, hazard analysis and damage analysis were conducted. The building damage due to both the scenario earthquake and the 1934 earthquake are calculated. In the analysis, building inventory database including structural type and vulnerability function for each structural type are developed. Several proposals for improvement of the earthquake-resisting capacity in Kathmandu Valley are issued.
