タイトル(英): SIMPLE DESIGN FORMULA OF BURIED PIPELINE DUE TO LATERAL DISPACEMENT
抄録(英): This paper proposes simple design formulas to calculate large deformation of buried pipeline under lateral displacement due to liquefaction. The subject of the formulas is a pipeline including a pipe bend, and a deflection angle of the pipe bend can be calculated using the formulas. Comparing results of the formulas with results of FEM analysis, results of the formulas are inaccurate in case of small diameter pipeline. So the formulas are corrected by considering the effects of pipe diameters. The deformation of any diameter pipeline can be calculated accurately using the corrected formulas, and it is useful in practical design for lateral displacement due to liquefaction.
