ƒ^ƒCƒgƒ‹i‰pjF REGIONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND SEISMIC PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF WOOD HOUSES
´˜^i‰pjF In this study, to establish a methodology evaluating the seismic performance of wood houses, particularly, traditional wood houses, regional characteristics of wood houses such as construction methods and structural assortment and the year of construction were classified based on the statistical deta of residences, and the zone mapping of results was made in all parts of Japan. The investigations more in detail were carried out at some areas in Hiroshima and Tottori prefectures where strong earthquakes occured recently. As a result, structural properties in each region were made clear from the pointview of construction method and frequency characteristics.
