タイトル(英): AN OPTIMAL SELECT SYSTEM OF ISOLATORS WITH CONSIDERATION OF SEISMIC PERFORMANCES BY SOFT COMPUTING METHOD
抄録(英): Well-balanced arrangement of isolators is required in design of a base-isolated building. It depends heavily on skill and experience of an architect. In this study, we describe an optimal auto-select-system with consideration of seismic performances and eccentricity. For the system, an optimal arrangement to select each isolator is derived by using soft computing method designed such as the genetic algorithm. As a result, the selection of isolators is harmonious with actual example with consideration of seismic performances. Moreover, it is possible to select appropriate isolators from many isolators in number by using this system.
