タイトル(英): AN OPTIMAL ARRANGEMENT METHOD OF BASE-ISOLATED DEVICE BY USING A GENETIC ALGORITHM -An examination of the evaluation for the case of respecting to seismic varying axial load-
抄録(英): This study has proposed an optimal arrangement method of base-isolated buildings by using a genetic algorithm. The item to be evaluated are: 1) a eccentricity ratio, 2) a natural period, 3) a damping factor, 4) a vertical load on rubber bearings, and 5) a temporary load on rubber bearings. The proposed method of this study has been applied to actual designed buildings to optimize the arrangement of those base isolators. We also carried out the time history response analysis of the building designed by our method. As a result of the time history response analysis, the designed building satisfied the design criteria. Therefore it was shown the validity of the proposed method.
