The statistics of load carrying capacity and deformation capacity are evaluated based on the fragility function and the simulated ground motion of Hyogo-Ken Nanbu Earthquake. The statistics of deformation capacity are evaluated from fragility function for 8-12F buildings, for which the displacement constant law is considered to be effected. The statistics of load carrying capacity of low-rise are evaluated by numerical experiments. The median of load carrying capacity of buildings constructed after 1982 is estimated 1.3-1.4 times as large as that of buildings constructed during 1972-1981. The median of deformation capacity of buildings constructed before 1971 is estimated 0.6-0.7 times as large as that of building constructed after 1972.
