Response properties of reinforced concrete wall-frame system with soft first story have been investigated through a shaking table test, three-dimensional nonlinear frame analyses and theoretical studies to propose a seismic design procedure for this system. In this paper, effects of strengthening by increasing columns and walls in soft first story on responses of this system were discussed and clarified through pushover analyses of buildings with different column ratios and different wall ratios.
