Composite block masonry structure consists of unreinforced concrete block masonry confined by surrounding reinforced concrete beams and columns. In this study, to investigate earthquake resisting behavior, composite block masonry wall specimen is tested with cyclic horizontal loading and simulated by rigid body spring model that models plastic behavior by rigid body and boundary spring. By the results of studies, outline of resisting mechanism can be known, and rigid body spring model is considered to be appropriate to this structure.
