ƒ^ƒCƒgƒ‹i‰pjF EFFECT OF BEARING STRUCTURES ON VERTICAL EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT CAPACITY OF TRUSS BEAMS
´˜^i‰pjF The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of characteristics of bearing structures on the vertical earthquake resistant capacity of truss beams. In this paper, both of the static and dynamic elasto-plastic buckling analyses of truss beams supported bearing structures subjected to vertical earthquake motion are carried out. And the natural period, the vibration mode, the modal participation coefficient and the factor are derived by the eigenvalue analysis.The study results in the large magnification ratio at the bearing point of the truss beam due to the bearing structure.
