´˜^i‰pjF In order to verify the seismic stability of embedded corrugated culverts due to strong earthquake motions like Hyogoken-nanbu Earthquake, the scaled -model shaking tests ant its simulation analyses were performed, The dynamic behavior and strains of culvert models and dynamic earth pressures acted on the models due to sinusoidal and random strong motions were estimated. From this study, it was verified that the structures do not exceed the allowable plastic deformation and do not collapse completely.
