The present paper deals with determination of limit state for underground reinforced concrete structures using a nonlinear analysis. To validate the nonlinear RC material model, the results obtained from a large shaking table and static loading tests on RC box culvert specimen were numerically correlated. The parametric analyses of reinforced concrete duct with various sizes and shapes are carried out to determine the deformation angel on the basis of numerical analysis. Conclusively, the limit state was established as maximum strength zone to global structure displacement by assuming that concrete compress strain is equal to 0.01 as limit value.
