タイトル(英): 3D SHAKING TABLE TEST ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PERMEATION GROUTING METHOD AS A COUNTAERMEASURE AGAINST LIQUEFACTION OF TANK FOUNDATION
抄録(英): The authors are developing permeation grouting method as a countermeasure against liquefaction for existing structures. When applying the method to the tank foundation, it is important to design a cost effective improvement pattern. To study the effectiveness of the ring type ground improvement, we have conducted 3D shaking table test under the following ground conditions: 1) no improvement; 2) ring type improvement; and 3) all improvement where the ground inside the ring is also improved in the second condition. From the test results, it was found that the ring type improvement is efficient for reducing the differential settlement of the tank foundation.
