タイトル(英): SEISMIC RESPONSIBILITY AND LIQUEFACTION PROPERTIES OF GROUND IMPROVED BY SAND COMPACTION PILE WITH HOMOGENIZATION METHOD
抄録(英): For counter-measure method against liquefaction of ground due to earthquake, sand compaction pile, SCP, is often adapted to the reclaimed ground. The current design with evaluation of improvement effects by N-value is, however, pointed out to be considerably conservative from the results of many case studies. In this paper, the evaluation method of the overall dynamic properties of the improved ground with homogenization theory, was suggested. On the basis of analysis results with account for stress histories around SCP, the overall evaluation showed that the improvement effects were controlled not only by the increment in liquefaction resistance, but also by improvements of the impedance and the natural period; these results are valid for the design of the seismic resistance of grounds.
