タイトル(英): EXPERIMENTS ON APPLICABILITY OF ACCUMULATED DAMAGE INDEX THEORY ON SAND LIQUEFACTION
抄録(英): In order to study an appropriate definition of a number of cycles when the accumulated damage index theory is applied on liquefaction characteristics, undrained cyclic shear tests were carried out using hollow cylindrical torsion shear apparatus. Three kinds of waveform with some sets of unloading and reloading in each side adopted for actuating as well as simple sinusoidal wave were adopted. Two kinds of counting number of cycles were compared in liquefaction resistance characteristics: one is so-called zero-crossing method and the other is zero-reaching method defined in this research. As a result, conclusions are as follows: For the loading waveforms adopted in this research, the zero-crossing method is more appropriate in the range of small strain, on the other hand, the zero-reaching method in the rage of large strain as well.
