This paper introduces the effect of fine grained soil to undrained cyclic shear behavior studied on a series of cyclic triaxial tests conducted on mechanically compounded and undisturbed samples, respectively. The samples were classified into three types of soil based on the cyclic shear behavior obtained from results of the triaxial tests. Relationships between cyclic strength characteristics and physical properties are discussed on the each type of soils.
