ƒ^ƒCƒgƒ‹i‰pjF FREQUENCY, DISTANCE, AND TIME DEPENDENCE OF RADIATION PATTERN CHARACTERISTICS OF STRONG MOTIONS
´˜^i‰pjF We investigated frequency, distance and time dependence of radiation pattern characteristics observed in strong motion data at KiK-net sites for the October 8,2000 aftershock (M J 5.5)of the 2000 Tottori-ken Seibu, Japan, earthquake. The results are as follows. 1)For S-wave part, at frequencies lower than 1 to 2 Hz,the observed radiation pattern characteristics were simulated well by the theoretical radiation pattern characteristics. But at frequencies higher than 3 Hz, the observed radiation pattern characteristics drastically changed and became isotropic.2)For coda-part, the observed radiation pattern characteristics were not consistent with the theoretical ones for S-waves.
