Bedrock motions at KiK-net Hino site are evaluated using the strong motion records derived from the 2000 Tottori-ken Seibu earthquake (M7.3), based on the results of velocity analysis in the seismic reflection survey carried out in this area as well as the soil information provided by NIED. S-wave velocity and h are determined by using the spectral-ratio fitting method with the Genetic algorithm for the mainshock and weak motions. The results showed that the depth of seismic bedrock (Vp=4600m/s) is possibly shallower than the depth of the downhole station. The peak ground acceleration at the bedrock is estimated at from 400 to 500cm/s/s.
