A questionnaire survey for seismic intensity during the Western Tottori earthquake in 2000 was executed in Shimane Prefecture. As a result, the questionnaire seismic scales almost agreed with the JMA instrumental seismic scales. The microzoning seismic map was obtained, especially in the district near the seismic center. Furthermore, the influences of topography and ground on the questionnaire seismic intensity ware investigated.
