ด˜^i‰pjF This paper discussed the variability of ground motion parameter, such as J.M.A. instrumental seismic intensity, peak ground acceleration, peak ground velocity and the product of the peak acceleration and the peak velocity, analyzing the local site effects. The difference of these ground motion parameters is not only site-dependent but also event-dependent. It is quantitatively revealed in this paper that the difference at each site exceeds the variability at each event. This paper also placed emphasis on revealing the importance of local site effects.
