ƒ^ƒCƒgƒ‹i‰pjF GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE AND SEISMIC SIMULATION ON THE NOBI PLAIN
´˜^i‰pjF In this report, we consider the Nobi Plain 3D geological structure model. First, the geological survey results carried out in and around the Nobi Plain are compiled. In addition we estimate 1D geological structures under the station using Ps-P and S-Sp time difference seen in the seismic data. The validity of these results is checked by microtremor array measurements. After that the model are constructed, which encompasses a region 54km long, 34km wide. Next we perform three-dimensional finite difference waveform modeling of strong motions in the frequency range 0.1 to 0.5 Hz to check the validity of the model. The simulation shows the validity of the model as rough model and also provides the basis and direction for necessary improvements to more reliable model.
