タイトル(英): STUDY ON THE FLOATATION OF UNDERGROUND STRUCTURES DUE TO LIQUEFACTION
抄録(英): During past earthquakes, including the Niigata earthquake in 1964, floatation of underground structures due liquefaction to has been liquefaction reported. The authors conducted several shaking table test to demonstrate the relationship between the floatation of buried common utility duct conduit and the density of the ground. A simple method to re-construct the model ground was also studied. According to previous researches, it was clarified that the floatation follows not only the increase of pore pressure but also the flow of surrounding ground. Therefore, the floatation can be decreased if the surrounding ground cannot be flowed by some measures such as wings. Then, in this research, a model common utility duct with the wings was placed in a liquefiable ground and the effect of the measure was examined by shaking table tests.
