ƒ^ƒCƒgƒ‹i‰pjF Analytical study on characteristics of the sea surface disturbance preceding seismic tsunami
´˜^i‰pjF The current tsunami warning system is helpless for a near field tsunami that reaches the seashore within a few minutes from the occurrence of an earthquake. The short -period sea surface disturbance is often observed before seismic tsunami. The purpose of this research is to explain the genetic mechanism of the sea surface disturbance and to investigate the possibility of the new tsunami warning system using the sea surface disturbance. For this purpose, we use two-dimensional numerical simulation considering dynamic seabed displacement. Finally we try to formulate the relationship between the ground displacement and the ground volume of uplift that generates a tsunami.
