We have performed earthquake observation for several years in Kamakura city and most records observed at two stations of NMD and KNG005 have been found to show as large vertical motion as horizontal motion, and horizontal motion is larger than other stations. Using microtremor data measured in all area of Kamakura city, period mapping of the area is in harmony with bedrock structure but H/V ratio for microtremor is larger near by hilly regions. We applied 3-D BEM to fundamental simulation model for irregular ground; result showed that horizontal motion is amplified on surface above the inclined bedrock.
