´˜^i‰pjF Colombia has been suffering from natural disaster such as landslides, earthquakes, floods for a long time. The government of Colombia requested government of Japan to formulate basic disaster prevention plan for Bogota metropolitan area. It was necessary to estimate damage of infrastructure and lifeline due to earthquake so as to prepare the basic disaster prevention plan for the Bogota metropolitan area. This paper introduces the estimation method for infrastructure and lifeline damage and the estimation results. The damage estimation method was proposed based on the methods currently used in Japan considering ATC-13 method and the Colombian earthquake disaster experience.
