ƒ^ƒCƒgƒ‹i‰pjF Development of Unified Earthquake Disaster Simulator based on Digital Virtual Town and Strong Motion Simulator with High Spatial Resolution
´˜^i‰pjF Estimation of earthquake disasters, which might be caused by a large earthquake, makes a significant contribution to producing a rational plan against earthquake disasters. Accuracy and high spatial resolution is of primary importance for estimation. For making such estimation, in this paper, we develop a prototype of unified earthquake disaster simulator, which employs simulation tools, and digital virtual town (DVT) that is constructed by using available geographic information system (GIS) data. The basic concept of this approach is presented using strong motion simulator with high spatial resolution and simple DVT, and dynamic response of this DVT is shown.
