抄録(英): A procedure to estimate the earthquake ground motion intensity for the performance-based design is proposed. It consists of the scenario-based earthquake ground motion prediction for the specific earthquakes in addition to the probabilistic seismic hazard analysis. Specific earthquakes whose occurrence probability is high and/or which produce the severe ground motion intensity at the site are separately evaluated from the probabilistic seismic hazard. The contribution factors of the probabilistic scenario earthquake concept are applied to identify the specific earthquakes.
