Information on fracture distribution in a rock mass is important for stability analysis as well as for prediction of groundwater inflow during tunnel excavation. To investigate the applicability of tomography technique for the use of fracture detection, a series of in-situ tests were conducted in a granitic rock. The velocity profiles obtained from cross-hole radar and seismic tomography reveals anormalities along fractured zones in the measurement area.
