地表付近の不均質構造の逆解析の試み

抄録（和）：
我々の研究の目的は､(1)観測点に致達する散乱波のエネルギーの原因となる局地的な不均質構造(断層､盆地など)と(2)こうした不均質構造による波動応答を明確にすることである｡我々の波形散乱逆問題は､浅い構造に適用できる最初の実用的な方法であろう｡各非等方な散乱媒質の位置と大きさを決定するために､1観測点で得られた複数の微小地震記録を使用する｡第一歩として､カリフォルニア州北パームスプリング地域において地表付近の不均質構造を逆解析で求めた｡得られた不均質構造の大きさの分布は､地質情報と整合しているように思われる｡

Our twofold purposes are to locate the local heterogeneities (fault,basin,etc) that are responsible for scattering energy to the site of interest,and to characterize the seismic response of these heterogeneities.Our waveform scatterer inversion is a first practical approach available for the shallow structure.We use a set ofmicroearthquake seismograms observed at a single station to determine the location and power of each nonisotropic scatterer.As our first step,we perform surface scatterer inversion in the North Palm Springs,California region.The scatterer power distribution obtained seems to be consistent with geological information.
