わが国では地震がしばしば発生し､液状化が原因の住宅被害も多数発生している｡そこで､浅い部分が主たる対象となり､しかも多数の地点をきめ細かく調べる必要のある宅地地盤に対して対応できると思われるスウェーデン式サウンディングを利用した地盤調査を行なった｡調査には､貫入試験､サウンディング孔を利用した試料採取・粒度分析と地下水位測定､聞き取り調査が含まれる｡地盤調査から表層の非液状化層厚H_1とその下の深さ5mまでの液状化層中のNswの平均値^^^ーを求め､両者をプロットしたところ､液状化被害の可能性の大・中・小を判定する図が作成され､これによる被害予測は被害実態と概ね良好に対応した｡ キーワード（和）： 地震，液状化，現地調査，サウンディング，貫入試験，微地形 掲載雑誌（英）： PROCEEDINGS OF ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE JAPAN SOCIETY OF CIVIL ENGINEERS 著者（英）： Kuwano Jirou,Ozaki Kenichirou,Nakamura Shinji タイトル（英）： SIMPLIFIED METHOD OF LIQUEFACTION HAZARD EVALUATION FOR SUBSURFACE LAYERS 抄録（英）：
Liquefaction hazard of a residential quarter,which was damaged by the 1987 Chibaken-toho-oki earthquake,was evaluated by a simplified method.Site investigation included the weight sounding tests,measurement of the ground water table,gradation analyses on samples procured from the sounding pits,and interviews to classify damage of houses.A liquefaction potential classification chart was made by plotting the thickness of unliquefiable surface layer,H_1,versus average value of Nsw in liquefiable sand layer,^^^-,at the site with or without ground damage during the earthquake.Liquefaction hazard potential was evaluated by using the classification chart together with the microtopography. キーワード（英）： earthquake,liquefaction,site investigation,sounding,penetration test,microtopography 記事区分： - 区分 　　　委員会論文集
