TIME HISTORY EVALUATION BASED ON ENERGY BALANCE FOR WIND-INDUCED VIBRATION OF TALL BUILDING
|
´˜^i‰pjF
Time history analyses of a tall building are carried out by using Multi-Load wind forces generated from dynamic balance data. A response evaluation method based on energy balance is proposed in this paper, which can study the feature of dynamic response from different angles in addition to the result of maximum and R.M.S.values. It can be said that this method is useful in evaluating the damage of a building under external forces, which corresponds to the quantity of input energy into a building. The result is compared with the one of the analysis of the building subjected to earthquake from the point of view of energy balance.
