Recently the use of base isolation, damper and control force to reduce the seismic responses of bridges have attracted many research interests. In this paper the feasibility of an energy dissipation device made of triangular steel plates in reducing the seismic responses of bridges is investigated. This type of device can provide bridge with stiffness and stable energy dissipation mechanism and the results show that the appropriate use of such device can lead to the reduction in the displacements of deck and the forces of the bridge pier. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
