THE EFFECTS OF SITE CONDITION ON SEISMIC MOTION IN LIAONNING PROVINCE, CHINA
|
´˜^i‰pjF
A great deal of earthquake damage data shows that site condition play an important role in distribution of seismic motion. In recent years, we have made a number of seismic response analyisis for come cities, such as Shenyang, Benxi, Yingkou, Panjin and Donggang etc, where the worn on seismic microzonation was going on. The result obtained from seismic response calculation show that the seismic motion burst into the site with different geological condition is noted for various characteristic. The topographic effects is an important element in the mountainous areas. The seismic effect of soft soil contained in thick overlying stratum is obvious in the plain region. The distribution of seismic motion is very complicated in the transitional belt between hilly areas and plains.
