This paper discusses a method for predicting the percentage of damage of RC building groups subjected to strong ground motions. Two kinds of building groups are of concern in this study:one is a group of RC buildings designed according to the current aseismic design code revised in 1981,and the other is a group of RC buildings designed according to the former code.
