Gravel layer as back-fill for pipeline was experimented to investigate the efficiency against liquefaction with scaled model using a shaking table. Unliquefied sandy surface layer was made with steel mold dividing into twelve pieces for the construction of tested ground. The gravel layer was found to be efficient to drainage but can't prevent to occur liquefaction in below layer. It is also found that the pipe doesn't move up by buoyancy but subsides with gravel layer. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
