In this paper, the seismic building codes of Korea, Japan and U.S.A. are considered. The characteristics of each seismic building code are compared each other and presented as shear force coefficient. Several cases for typical buildings are analyzed and compared for base shear force coefficient and story displacement which are calculated through each seismic building code. From the results of earthquake resoponse analysis in linear and nonlinear domain, the ductility ratio response is discussed with these building seismic codes. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
