Major design parameters which control the response characteristics of tall buildings are statisticaly examined in this paperADistibutions of the resistances of the restoring force characteristics along the height of tall buildings are classified. By using the features obtained above, several model for tall buildings are proposed for further analytical studies. Then seismic margin indices are computed and the reliability of tall buildings aginst erthquake motions are discussed. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹ๆ•ชF - ‹ๆ•ช @@@ˆฯˆ๕‰๏˜_•ถW
