抄録（英）：
This paper presents a numerical study on the elasto-plastic dynamic bebaviors of steel cantilever columns with variable cross-section subjected to horizontal earthquake ground motion The cumulative strain every cross-section and hysteretic energy of columns are investigated under the variaion of the plastic deformation patterns of columns as well as the ratio of constant vertical load to squash force of columns. It is indicated that the hysteretic energy can not be shared in proportion to cumulative stain due to plastic deformation every cross-section because the absorbed stain energy of cross-section is influenced by the corresponding fully-plastic stress-resultants.
