The torsional motion of structures with shear walls is induced by the eccentricity of the stiffness due to the unsymmetrical disposition of shear walls. In this paper, three dimensional inelastic analyses axe carried out on the 7 and 15-story reinforced concrete wall-structures with and without eccentricity subjected to earthquake motions. The relation between the stiffness of foundation support and the eccentric coefficient, the variation in story displacements, structural member ductility factors and the story shear forces due to the eccentricity, as well as the behavior of the structures under bi-axial earthquake motions, are described through the analytical results. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
