抄録（英）：
In order to Investigate the embedment effects on dynamic soli- structure interaction, such as increase of soil spring constant and radiational damping, a series of forced vibration tests vas carried out under the condition of different embedment depth. The test model was designed in consideration of the dynamic characteristics of the reactor buildings constructed in Japan. From the test results, on the embedment effects there was difference between horizontal excitation and vertical excitation. The analytical results by axisymmetric FEM correspond well to the test results.
