We have been presented an analytical method to estimate response of submerged floating tunnels to vertical seismic excitations. In this study, the shaking table test was carried out in order to grasp (1)the effect of dynamic fluid force (2) the validity of response analysis. Comparing the experimental results each other or with the calculated results which by using above analytical method, the following conclusions were obtained. Experimental frequency response characteristics of fluid force, acceleration and cable tension agreed fairly well with the analytical ones. which has been indicated the validity of this analytical method. When considering the fluid forces, the tine history of acceleration and cable tension response were roughly agreed with experimental ones. ƒL[ƒ[ƒhi‰pjF - ‹LŽ–‹æ•ªF - ‹æ•ª @@@ˆÏˆõ‰ï˜_•¶W
