It is difficult to use the traditional equi-linearized method to evaluate the earthquake response of the weak-ground, because in such method the frequency-dependence of shear modulus and damping is impossible to be considered. In this paper, the fading memory theory has been used to study equi-linearized method with frequency-depended shear modulus and damping.
